Embracing my natural hair really boosted my confidence and I want to share that feeling with everyone who sits in my chair. I was born with a head full of curls and had a full fro by the time I was one year old. Growing up I spent many Sunday afternoons crying while having my hair detangled. Because of that experience I’ve developed a gentle touch with hair and often have guests fall asleep in my chair. 

 

I found my passion for curls through lots of trial and error learning about products and styling techniques from YouTube. This is where I eventually learned about curly cuts and that proved to be a huge game changer. After finishing college and not really enjoying the work I was pursuing I realized I really wanted to focus on hair. 

 

Getting to focus on the specialty that brought me to this industry brings so much meaning and enjoyment to my work. I can’t wait to see you in my chair so we can find a look that feels true to you!
